With its perfectly appointed lawns, tasteful and refined mansions, and unparalleled views, Woodland ranks as one of Minnesota's wealthiest cities. Tucked next to three of Lake Minnetonka’s bays and wetlands, Woodland features some of the most spectacular custom homes in the western metro area. 

On a peninsula in the water on Wayzata Bay, Woodland is positioned along Lower Lake with a view of Brown’s Bay. First settled in 1882, Woodland was known as a destination vacation spot dotted with many summer homes. By the 1930s, Woodland grew into a coveted year-round neighborhood and incorporated in 1948. Today, fewer than 500 people live in this .8 square mile village with old growth trees.
